eddy_d
Hello Everyone. I have a question. I have a Minolta Maxxum 5. One of my favorite cameras. This is my second one. I accidently broke the film door clasp. You have to push the button in and then a paper clip in the side to release the lock. Well I pushed to hard and now it wont close. I did shoot with it the same day. I just closed it with some heavy tape and it worked. Is there a way to fix it or do i just use tape to keep it closed until I get another one? Thanks in Advance. erichsande
A moderator that used to be on the Nikon forum a lot often mentioned that he had a Nikon N6006 with a broken door latch and continued to use it with the back taped shut. Many mid-range and lower cameras are almost free on eBay as far as replacing your Maxxum 5. Eric Sande
JDMvW
Second the idea of getting a "parts" spare. When I was in high school, my friends with older British sports cars always had at least two of them (one for parts). Tape is good too:rolleyes:
