r._a._haentzler
One of the photos I took at a session, I made the mistake of cropping too tight in the camera, thus when I try and crop for an 8x10, the top or bottom will be cut off. Please help. I use PS CC.
peterbcarter
There is no law stating you have to completely fill the print. Adjust the matting on you frame to the new area.
bgelfand
It depends upon what is at the top and bottom. Photoshop Content Aware Fill does quite well for uncluttered backgrounds.

Cropping and other post processing tasks are best done on a copy on the computer and always have the original untouched on the same computer.
howard_m
besides CAF, there is Content Aware Scaling and thats useful too. I just used it to 'stretch' the top of an image to create more image at the top (I put the top of the building too close to the top edge and felt like I needed more 'space'). I selected (rectangular) a nice blank area and then CAS. CAF included some weird extraneous stuff that I didn't want to try to clone out or 'redo'. CAS worked great.
wgpinc
Print 8 by 12 or some multiple of that. Come on use some imagination and common sense.

michaelmowery
I hardly ever print 8x10s. I am a full frame shooter so all my products are in 2x3 full frame ratio.
