e39 Filter wanted

I don't know if this is the right place but I am looking for an E39 orange filter for my M6. Does anyone have one

that they no longer use ?

I am not sure if the E39 spec has the same thread pitch as 39mm screw-in filters that are legion on filter sites ( <a href="https://www.google.com/search?q=39mm+orange+filter&num=100&newwindow=1&source=univ&tbm=shop&tbo=u&sa=X&ei=9JwZVYhBh7uCBJWhgcAF&ved=0CCEQsxg&biw=1388&bih=1074">link</a>)</p>

<p>I've never had a problem interchanging E39 and 39mm thread filters on my Leic lenses. I think there is a slight difference in pitch, but I've never stripped any. If you already have an orange filter in a different size, you might just want to use a step up/down ring with it. </p>

<p>The Leitz / Leica E39 filters all have a 0.5mm pitch so there should be no issue. Before you purchase another manufacturer's filter, verify the thread pitch, if possible. I have purchased several Leitz E39 filters via eBay at reasonable prices. I would stick with an older Leitz filter, or if you prefer, you could opt for a modern B+W (B+W's are multicoated and also have the 0.5mm pitch.) ADORAMA and B&H have carried the B+W brand.</p>
