Mike Gammill
No one got this one started so I thought I would. I've always thought water tanks were interesting so I'll start off with a small town water tank that I photographed a couple of years ago. I used a Minolta SRT 303 with 100mm f3.5 Auto Rokkor (in stop down metering).

lex_jenkins
From about 10 years ago, but rediscovered this week in a box while I was looking for something else. Prints from Rolleiflex 2.8C (don't recall which film) on Ilford MGIV FB warm tone. Left print was developed in Alta Zonal Pro warm tone and toned in Paterson Acutone selenium toner. Great stuff, both discontinued, though I still have some concentrate left. Right print was in neutral developer and either untoned or in KRST. I photographed the two side by side to illustrate the difference warm tone developer and toner can make, since the question comes up occasionally.

glen_h
Never sure what qualifies as classic, I now have a Canon T70. Unlike most of the motorized Canons, this one uses two AA batteries. (When you buy a camera for $10, you would rather not have to pay another $10 for a battery.)
If it qualifies, I will take some pictures and post them.
-- glen
rick_drawbridge
Tricky, the T70, Glen. It's a camera I like very much, but I've always refrained from featuring it on CMC Forum since it's basically a motorised SLR with a choice of shutter priority AE modes or manual, despite the fact that it takes only the old FD manual focus lens. I feel it's sort of on the cusp between this forum and Modern Film Cameras. It would be interesting to see what other members think.
Mike Gammill
I'm fine with either forum. In fact, the activity is so low in the Modern Film Cameras forum that I wouldn't be surprised it merges with this forum at some point. But since you're using an a manual FD lens you could say that you're posting here to show off the lens.

JDMvW
Again, having been one who argued for the creation of the Modern Film forum, the fall-off of traffic on that forum seems to suggest the wisdom of just having a "Film Camera Forum", since film seems the more critical criterion.

Whatever we do, the last thing we should do is to make CMC more rigid. I am quite sure that part of its success is its flexibility and welcoming nature.

Some other forums are, frankly, too rigid and on that account I have stricken them from my "Unified View" so I am not tempted to post there and impinge on their ritual purity.
rick_drawbridge
I'd certainly support an expanded definition for the Forum.... BTW, that's superb quality in your "Public Gardens" image, M.C.Fitz...

Bill Bowes
Hello everyone. Four or five times a year I bust out of my "normal" life and join my buddies of years road racing Go Karts. No longer in the drivers seat, I now get to run the K1000 and it's lenses taking "their" pictures. Miss the 100+mph speeds, 1.25 inches off the asphalt, but that's life. All pictures K1000 - 250mm, 80s @ 150, Coffenal CCL for 60m, semi-stand. Enjoy, Bill
