mjferron
It's Friday. Now is the time to show some photos you have been getting with classic manual cameras that have not been gathering dust on a shelf. Remember to keep photos to no more than 700 pixels on the longest side and under 300 kb. Please limit submissions to three photos per person.

CoryAmmerman
I digging through the vault today. This is a two shot panorama that I took back when I was in my last semester of X-ray school. For some reason I never got around to stitching them together until this morning. Taken with my Nikomat and 200/4 AI. I forget what film, probably Wallgreen's branded Fugi 200.

michael_chuang1
I've gone on about the Topsfield (Massachusetts) Fair before, so I'll spare you all except to note that the 2014 edition started today. This shot was taken at the 2013 Fair with a plain-prism Nikon F and age-appropriate (pre-AI) 50/1.4 Nikkor probably wide open, but it might have been f/2. Fujicolor 200 print film, Noritsu scanned.

Mike Gammill
A few years back when I had the good fortune to acquire a mint Minolta XE-7. It looked like someone had traveled into the past and brought it to our time. Balances well with my Adaptall 28-200 lens which I used for the following shots.

Mike Gammill
One caveat: this lens is varifocal rather than a true zoom so you must refocus after zooming. Focus is easy at every focal length thanks to the contrasty viewfinder in the XE-7.

david_weiss2
Thanks for your nice comment, m.c. I don't know if it shows in the photo, but my dad was very content when we found this window. He kept saying, "This is wonderful, this is wonderful." He was referring to the warmth on his face. He is smiling just a bit here.
Can our elders teach us something? You bet. If only he could teach me how to post full-size photos to this site from flikr.
Dave
