<p><strong>Bill</strong>, I use almost exclusively Ilford Hypam, a rapid non-hardening fixer that has a huge working capacity. I don't know if it's available in the US, though Freestyle may stock it. It comes in a liquid form so it's easy to mix just as much as you need.</p>

<p>Thanks, Rick. These days I would have taken several shots at least 1, 2 and 3 stops over the meter reading to get a little more control of the shadows via HDR. Unfortunately the shadows are completely blocked out with the Velvia - nothing but noise.</p>

<p>Today seems a bit slow so I'll cover today. This shot goes back a few years when I was shooting my last roll of Kodak High Speed Infrared (HIE). Found a scan of one of my prints. I likely used a red #25 filter. At some point I tinted the scan to get the color that you see in the image. I hope to find the strip of negatives and eventually get a better scan of the negative.</p><div></div>

Mike, love that HIE. The color is very reminiscent of kodaks EIR infrared color slide film. I still have 1 roll in the freezer of

the EIR and perhaps 20 rolls of the HIE. Not sure what I'm waiting for.
