jeff_harting1
I have not shot or developed a role of black and white film in over 10 years, everything is digital now and we print everything on our Noritsu printer. Lately I have gotten a bit nostalgic and started thinking about firing up the old darkroom, the equipment is still there but of course I have no chemistry. So I started looking up all my old favorites and can't find any mention of zonalpro:( so I'm guessing they are out of business? If so does anyone have a suggestion for a similar product. my young grandson seems interested in this "new technology" so that should keep me motivated. larrydressler
I used Zonal Pro years ago. I think it is still around just under a different name. I would suggest HC-110 mixed right from the bottle if you are not going to do a whole lot of developing and want the developer to last a long time.
Look at this link to get all you may need on HC-110.
http://www.covingtoninnovations.com/hc110/
jeff_harting1
Thanks Larry i will have a look, for some reason I never used it. Maybe someone will show up and tell us about the status of zonalpro.
larrydressler
Last time I saw it was a seller/dealer on ebay. Seemed to have it in stock. That was maybe last year.
lex_jenkins
Apparently Alta, the manufacturer for ZonalPro, is no more. At last check there was a distributor with some in stock: Omega Brandness

I liked their warm tone print developer in particular. Great stuff with Ilford, Agfa and Luminos warm tone fiber papers.

roy_pace
Freestyle carries a warm-tone paper developer under their house brand, Arista. The product is called "Arista Premium Warmtone HQ Paper Developer." Freestyle claims that it is a replacement for the Zonal Pro HQ, although I have not used either. You can do a search for the product on their website, or click here. Good luck!
