Yes, I have another bird photo this week, but with the great weather and abundance of birds in our yard this time of year, its hard to leave home when so many great photo opportunities are right in the back yard. A father and son downy woodpecker have been in this tree contstantly all week and the papa has been showin the youngin' the ropes. Here's a photo of one of them as he looks up between pecks at the tree. Let's see those photos!

Andy Collins
Nathan, that's a beautiful woodpecker shot. We have quite an abundance of them north of you here in North Central Indiana (Monticello), but I haven't gotten a picture as nice as that one. Mine is of one member of the hummer pair that frequents our hummer feeder, the female. They're becoming accustomed to my presence and have been staying long enough to get good shots. I wish I could get them posed on beautiful flowers, but for now the fake feeder flowers will have to do...

philrichardson
Really enjoying the photos so far. Not that many birds coming through the local wildlife reserve this time of year. Here's a male House Sparrow.

David_Cavan
Spent a day last weekend on the eastern shore of Maryland, and met Ken on Tilghman Island as I stalked some photos. We had a great conversation - he is rebuilding a 45 year-old sailboat on a shoestring, and he asked me to shoot some photos of the boat, print them and send them to him which I was glad to do.

Dave Cavan https://davecavanphotographics.com/

mbkissel
Brian Wallace - crop out a little of the right side, and maybe the blanket at the bottom and you'll have a shot that I think little Henry's parents will treasure for a lifetime. Nicely done!
Ken Papai - I hope you are keeping good notes on all of these wines you are tasting. I need some recommendations. Love the photo.

Not much time for comments this morning. As usual, the regulars here have dished up some terrific photos. Thank you for your continuing inspiration.
Memorial Day weekend coming up for us here in the states.
