Dieter Schaefer
I never used the AF on the 1st and 2nd generation AF cameras back in the days (I owned F4 and N2020) even though a lot of my lenses were AF. I started using AF in 2004 - on a D70 and an F5 (quite some time after my wife demonstrated that AF on her F100 worked a lot better and faster than my manual focusing with the F4). Kent T
A note: Best use for a Nikon N2020, is for manual focus AI and AI-S lenses. It's AF system is slow. Nikon got their AF SLR act really together with the N6008 and N8008 cameras.

I used AF quite often with my F4 and unless the ambient light was really dim, it always hit spot on. It was lightening fast on my F5.

Nikon really got their AF act together? Is that why today nearly every body-lens combo needs a different AF fine tune? A 'fine' tune that practically end stops the adjustment range in many cases. The earliest generation Nikon AF cameras had very slow, very lacking in response AF compared to say, the Minolta Maxxum AF SLR by comparison. The Nikon AF 2020 is best used as a manual focus SLR, to name an example.

Likely because the early posts are from 2012 and transfers to new systems probably mis-translated. (I see the tags, but only in the early posts..) mark33
I want to share a cautionary tale with you. As someone who has experienced the devastating consequences of a cryptocurrency scam, I urge you to exercise extreme caution when dealing with digital currencies. I lost a significant amount of money ($125,900 to be exact) after being deceived by an online investment company. They promised me a high return on investment, but when I tried to withdraw my funds, they asked for more money, which only fueled my anxiety. That’s when I reached out to Softweartech, a reputable online recovery agent. I emailed their support team at softweartech5@gmail.com and received a prompt response. They took the time to listen to my situation and provided me with valuable guidance and support throughout the recovery process. Their transparency and integrity gave me confidence in their abilities, and I was thrilled to see my funds recovered. I want to emphasize that not all recovery services operate with the same level of professionalism and trust as Softweartech. If you find yourself in a similar situation, I highly recommend reaching out to them. You can contact them via email at softweartech5@gmail.com or WhatsApp at +4915510650010. Thank you for your time, and I hope this warning helps others avoid falling victim to similar scams.
