Among the first digital photos you shot

Old Guy Ramble (OFR): My first "digital" camera was an early-

model Sony Mavica, about 1988. It wasn't actually digital; it shot

video still frames in NTSC format and stored them on a tiny drive

about the size of a CF card. Everything I have left of those shots is

on VHS tape.

OK, back to the topic: This shot is one of my first outings (2004) with

a Canon EOS 300D (Digital Rebel) with the 18-55mm kit lens. I still

have it, and it still works...<div>00cvaz-552212284.jpg.8c559917d593429e285f8488adaccb70.jpg</div>

Kodak DC240 2-22-2000. I remember looking through a photo

magazine that compared the then available consumer digital

cameras about a year before I got this camera and thinking not one

of them approached film quality. When I got the Kodak, it made me

a believer in the digital age.

PS - I still like the smell of fixer<div>00cvbB-552212484.JPG.ae6b51256c6c57b1998e9c90969cc665.JPG</div>
