Nicolaie's underwater "landscape" makes a change from the usual dryland type, and Gej's treescape is just beautiful.

Mine is a simple jar of flowers this week; the only shot that wasn't purely a technical exercise in what's been a pretty boring week. D700 with studio flash in a softbox and a little hotshoe strobe used as a backlight/kicker.

00Zjg2-424389584.JPG.9b338c387002530a2ca341dc2bd085dd.JPG

My contribution this week was made in Zuffenhausen, Germany in front of the Porsche Museum. Camera NIkon D300s, lens Sigma 18-50mm f/2.8. Taken at 1/25s, f/8, ISO 200.
You can see my whole family taking photos. Me - Nikon D300s, my wife - NIkon D200, my son - NIkon Coolpix 3000.

00Zjgs-424407684.jpg.784171f116a13806437d2412e58942da.jpg

Bill Boyd, beautiful!

This started as an attempt to get a picture of our Border Collie in front of the tree. Instead, I have a lot of funny pictures of my dog trying to get the tennis ball, while avoiding the camera.

00Zjgv-424409584.jpg.dea5aa0e1ef25c283e10a70a0ab0af67.jpg

Upward she climbs with graceful athleticism, at the 2011 Bozeman Ice Festival. Ice climbers from the Cascades to the Adirondacks and the Canadian Rockies enjoyed perfect weather at the 3 day event. Bozeman is my home town. Thanks to the efforts of the ice climbers, the mountain road into Hyalite Canyon is plowed all winter, giving access to this winter wonderland without the need of a snowmobile. D7000 w/ Nikkor 80-200 f/4.
http://bozemanicefest.wordpress.com/

Bill Boyd, your photo is a wonderful portrait of a pelican. They are magnificent birds.

00ZjhG-424413584.jpg.ea72728706293d1fd69e068179940c08.jpg
