Good morning,
Christopher Sperry, great image of the frozen Yellowstone!
This is a shot in my garden. Years ago, friends insisted on planting a witch hazel bush as a house gift. Ever since, this bush has rewarded us with electric fall foliage in the morning when the morning sun back lights the leaves.

00Zbys-416075584.jpg.1dd40173330ad38668f009ff739c4dff.jpg

Happy Wednesday! Lovely photos so far. This week I'm posting another critter who is usually found no farther north than the south Texas area. It's one of my favorite butterflies; the Guava Skipper. (D90/Sigma 150mm@1/200, f/7.1, ISO 800) Thanks for the comments last week on my photo. They were appreciated. :)

Flat on my back the last couple of weeks with the worst flu I've had in years I'm reduced to staying inside scanning old images, rather than chance pneumonia. Here's one from healthier times. 1995 America's Cup, Louis Vuitton eliminations. Australia, headed by famed skipper John Bertrand, flying a spinnaker on a downwind leg. Shot with an Fe2 and my old trusty manual focus 35-135 while bouncing around in the swells. Hope you like it.

00Zbz0-416081584.jpg.7748058a79e797ea98076c0e49383535.jpg

Greetings from the depths of northern Ontario.
Harry(L) and Hattie have decided to start their own 'occupy' movement. Here, they are occupying the sunroom. Their demands? More treats, more walks, less time that mom and dad are away, free run of the house, more toys,......
Negotiations continue.

00ZbzU-416097684.jpg.9cb4a479157c7aa87df63ce81ad74e5b.jpg
