<p>So while I was figuring out other ways to misuse the 85/1.4D I decided to see how poorly it would do with an unsuspecting couple + UV filter while shot into the setting sun.</p>

This is a shot in my garden. Years ago, friends insisted on planting a witch hazel bush as a house gift. Ever since, this bush has rewarded us with electric fall foliage in the morning when the morning sun back lights the leaves.</p><div></div>

<p>Good morning to all fellow lovers of Nikon. My shot this morning wasn't exactly out in the dark but I was inside of a dimly lit little gift shop in Stonington, Maine shooting through a window that overlooks the harbor and the ever present lobster boats. </p><div></div>

<p>Flat on my back the last couple of weeks with the worst flu I've had in years I'm reduced to staying inside scanning old images, rather than chance pneumonia. Here's one from healthier times. 1995 America's Cup, Louis Vuitton eliminations. Australia, headed by famed skipper John Bertrand, flying a spinnaker on a downwind leg. Shot with an Fe2 and my old trusty manual focus 35-135 while bouncing around in the swells. Hope you like it.</p><div></div>
