mark_medin
My first bit of camera porn done with a new digital snapshot camera I got just yesterday (pardon the poor shot). These are the Nikons I've gotten since June. The EM on the front row left has a third party 35-70/3.5 zoom. Center is an FM2 with an AI-converted 55/3.5 Micro. The FM front right has a 105/2.5 AI lens. On the back row left, the FG sports an MD-14 and Series E 50/1.8. Center is an AI-converted 80-200/4.5. On the right is an FA with an MD-12, SB-15, and 35/2 AI-S lens.

bob_sunley
Mark, nice collection, but you have to get out of the family rating by removing the lens caps. :)

Raymond W
Nice collection Mark!
I would add the FE2 and F3HP to complete the family portrait.

Robert_Lai
You're missing an F, F2 and F3. You'd better get working on correcting these deficiencies at once.

brian_schall
It's amazing how they multiply. Presently I have a F100, N75, N4004, FM2n, FM, D80, D50. Ones I've had and sold: 2x F, F2, F3, F4, 2x FM, 2x FE, EM, FTn, EL, 2x N8008s, N90s. I think that's all, it's easy to lose count.
mark_medin
Raymond,
I want an FE2 and either an F2 or F3 if I can find a good one for not too much money. Unfortunately the FM3a seems pretty expensive. What I really need are more lenses.
User_502260
It will take me some time to assemble my Nikons for a Group photo. From memory I have: six N2020s, N8008S, N90S, F90X, two FEs, an FE2, three F2s, Pronea S, Pronea 6i and about 20 assorted Nikkormats and Nikomats, all mechanical. I would like to have an FM2N, an FM3A and maybe one F3. Nikon models which do not really interest me include the EM, FG, FG-20 and all of the AF models after the N2020 and before the N80008S. It might be nice to have an N6000. As F100 prices have fallen, that model looks tempting. As for lenses, I have between 50 and 55 Nikkors. These include four ix Nikkors for the Pronea cameras and the second and better model of the 28-80 AF, which is my only AF Nikkor. The N90S and F90X focus it better than the N8008S and much better than the N2020s. As I have noted before, I consider the N2020 to be a very nice camera to use for manual focus.
Raymond W
Hi Mark:
With the FE2 and F3, you would have all the F3 generation of Nikon bodies. The FM3A is nice, but not of the same generation and a bit expensive. Yes, I would get some nice AIS Nikkor lenses and have lots of fun.
Cheers
Raymond
JDMvW
Okay, here's my modest pre-AI assemblage. Still use them regularly, and also use the lenses frequently on my Canon EOS cameras (film and digital)

Matthew Currie
Dave Lee: I don't know how you can say you have too many Nikons. It's obvious you have many Nikons indeed, but too few F's to qualify as too many.

So I guess I'll have to join in. I did not throw in all the nifty Nikon accessories and lenses, and forgot to throw in the underwater 35AF that's out in one of the cars, but here's my fleet. As you can see, I also do not have too many Nikons yet although it might be argued that I have almost enough F's.

mark_medin
I had a bit of luck in getting all of the equipment as cheaply as I have. The MD-14 is a KEH graded UG that cost all of $4 and works just fine, while the MD-12 was a more reasonable BGN and $14. The flash was an ebay deal - $1 with all the original packaging, though I had to clean out the battery holder. I also should be getting an MD-15 soon for the FA. The FM and FA came to me as gifts (more or less), as did the 105 and 35 lenses. One reason I didn't pull off the lens caps are that the 35 has a nasty rim dent, and the 105 a minor one.

I notice nobody noticed the Canon cap on one of the lenses - my sense of humor led me to put it there to see if I got called for heresy :)

Now that I have my digital snapshot camera, I can put up the film cameras and some shots I got from them together. I have an idea which I'll do first - warning, it'll be a camera using 127 film!
