danferrin Posted June 16, 2011 Share Posted June 16, 2011 <p>Once again, a lot of great shots here already and looking forward to seeing what everyone else has to share.<br> These two barred owl babies were pledged from the nest less than two weeks ago. This was as close as I could get to them and as unobstructed a shot as I could get, as well. Shot with my 50D and EF 100-300mm USM f4.5-5.6 at 300mm f5.6 and 1/50 sec, with the camera on tripod using Live View. The background contains a Nina replica. They are painted a dull black with wirtually no luminosity. Hard to photograph.
