User_2019667
Hi Mark, That cute dog is actually a girl and no, I did not take her home. I am going to volunteer over at the dog shelter though. We have 4 children scattered all over the US and we want to do some visiting. So I am going to put off getting another dog at the present time. I can still be involved with the dogs at the shelter and be free to take off to visit the kids.
John Pender

birdied
Wonderful shots, everyone. Great shot Bill and Jeff with your new D7000's. I too, am the new owner of a D7000. D300 shutter went out with only about 24,500 actuations. Could not bear the thought of being without a camera for weeks , so the only reasonable thing was to get a new one !
John, congrats on your new puppy , Harry. pvg photography
Haven't posted in quite awhile, but that doesn't mean I haven't been checking out the submissions every week. While I have started to get out more and explore my local arboretum, I thought I would go w/ something different for me...........people! Something my family always teases me about. The shot is of my Niece and her new husband, taken this past weekend at the boat house in central park, NYC.

wmervine
Greetings fellow Nikonians.
Not quite something that would be the same as 100 years ago, unless she found the fountain of youth, but something timeless from a photoshoot last weekend. Beauty is always timeless, and I love seeing someone blossom as they see how beautiful they can look. May be harder than working with professional models, but rewarding in it's own way.

Rushing off to work but will come look again later with more time.
