alexander_n2
I found this listed and realized I had never seen it before.

Is this a new version of Kodak's BW400CN or are they just getting rid of their old stock of said film? It has a very plain generic package.

Thanks

andylynn
That's pretty similar to one of the BW400CN packagings I'm used to. There's been no announcement of a new version of the film and nothing on the web site so I'd have to assume this is a new, or old, or international, or alternate, packaging.
Dave Luttmann
Looks like the C41 B&W film in a new package.
patrick_mont
If I am not mistaken, that may be the old BW400CN package..
leicaglow
It isn't unusual for Kodak to switch up their packaging. They are very POS savvy in that respect.
stephane_veron
For sure it's not a new packaging. This is not the new Kodak font and they gave up with the traditional logo on packagings.
randrew1
The "Process Anywhere" statement seems to refer to process C-41. Is C-41 mentioned on the box anywhere? I'd bet long odds that this is BW400 CN.

dave_redmann
The box itself (not so much the tab above it) looks a lot like the boxes I used to see at Walgreen's and Wal-Mart years ago. I tried this stuff, but decided that if I was going to shoot C-41 B&W, I'd prefer Ilford XP-2 Super, which printed easier in a traditional darkroom, rather than the Kodak, which had an orange tint that messed with variable-contrast filters (but was designed for printing on color paper).
rossb
The film must be the BW400cn film which has been around for a while. I went to the Kodak film announcements and there is nothing listed about it. The labeling on the box is kind of strange but I am going to order some BW400CN anyway and try it out.
