ridinhome
Got up early last Saturday to get some pre-dawn light. Was walking around and I saw this model in a shop window. Not crazy about the bullseye effect of the composition, but the shop window was too dark to get anything else.

david_huff1
Happy Thanksgiving everyone (in America). We drove up to Big Trees, California yesterday. This is one of the absolutely amazing things about California - you can drive from a nice Autumn day to the middle of Winter in under two hours. 1d Mark IV, 70-200mm L f/2.8.

Couldn't resist to express MHO on some:
@ Jeff - Very good capture of the moment rightfully in B&W
@ David - Wow the combination of Ferrari, Photographer, 40D and our humble 50 1.8 lens worked very well!
@ DS - What a colorful creature and awesome macro.
@ Ian - Composition, colors, choice of focal length all worked very well
@ Kayam - You hit the bull's eye with this shot!
Here is my contribution to this week's forum from a female mallard in a local wild life sanctuary; taken in a crispy Fall morning:

daniel_harris
I am glad I found this group. Good stuff everyone. I shot a women's college basketball game this past week. There were a number of shots I liked but decided to share this one. Shot with an EOS xti.

<a title="101120-CSUS-CMA-160 by fzx_is_phun, on Flickr" href=" src="http://farm6.static.flickr.com/5081/5196162890_c99dcd185b_z.jpg" alt="101120-CSUS-CMA-160" width="640" height="512" />

wmervine
Greetings all. Loving what I'm seeing so far this week.
From my side was killing some time before meeting a friend for lunch on the weekend. My 1st time playing with a polariser. I chose this pic because I love the symbolism of new life coming from that which is dead.

matti_kari
In the spirit of coming holidays a huge Christmas tree was installed on town square on Monday. I caught it with a "celestial" decoration on Tuesday morning. Later on Sunday this week all the true lights are lit on tree and on streets and the Xmas season starts, the commercial part anyway. 5D 70-200/2,8 ISII
