wayne_wrights
My image this week was taken with my Nikon D300, Nikon 200-400mm f4 lens, @ f5.6 ISO 400 at 125 second. This is an eight point buck in Cades Cove, TN. This is a non-captive image. The deer in this National Forest are free to roam at will. Thanks for looking.

phil_burt
Of course you all know Wednesday is my favorite day for viewing photos. Where else can one get such a wonderful collection of beautiful Photos from around the world. With an added bonus of some telling us about the photo and the parameters for taking it.
Something that I always look forward to and miss when I can't partake.
Thanks to all and I will come back later today to select my favorites.
My photo today is that of a Banjo player. They are usually picked on so I wanted to put one in the shadows where he could he invisible. I worked it up in PS.
This was taken at a concert at the beginning of Nov that I go to every month. A local Bluegrass thing.
I used my Nikon D-90 with Sigma 70-200 (2.8) @ 78mm, f9, 1/100, iso 3200, flash(sb-900), hand held and full manual exposure.
I liked having fun with this. Hope that it meets your approval.
Have a really great day!
phil b
benton, ky

tom_serio
Great day to everyone. Been away for a while, but want to offer a recent shot. Took this from my backyard. No, that's not the North Star but the moon, taken on a 25-second exposure. Starburst effect maybe from polarizing filter, otherwise untouched.

dan park
My friend was nice enough to grab my D2H and bring it to the finish line of the Beach2Battleship half ironman. He took this shot of me right after I finished my first triathlon. Shooting from the hip he caught me totally off guard while I basked at being still for the first time over 5 hours. I'm very thankful for this photo and good thing I set the focus point to fully dynamic or he wouldn't have got it!

SOme that caught my fancy: Matt, Jon, Doug, Jose to name just a few. Mine is from about a month ago. It was taken in Rawdon Quebec in the area of the Dorwin falls. This is an abstract type image of the fall reflection on a small stream. http://www.photo.net/photo/11946089

jannekaakinen
Hi everyone & happy Wednesday!

Missed last week, had to take a business trip to Lapland, and unfortunately I was way too busy to shoot anything. My pic for this week is a test shot I took with my "new" cheap lens, and my little sis was kind enough to model for me.

peter_doucette
I've been away from posting for awhile, hoping to get back into it. I loaded the F2 with some T-Max 400, put on the Micro 55 5.3, took about a month to go through the roll, and developed it on the kitchen table. Scanned with an Epson V600. Now, high on the list is learning to scan.
