lisae
So many beautiful pictures. I think my favorite today is Dieter's owl photo.

My daughter and I had a girls-only weekend. My daughter is a bird-lover and spent part of her morning behind the binoculars, watching a trio of juvenile blue jays at the feeder.

Keith Gierman
Wow, great shots so far, everyone.

I haven't posted in a while as I haven't been inspired to take any pictures. This weeks contribution is one of the lily's in our front yard. It has been putting on an amazing display this year. I did take a closeup of one of the flowers but when I imported it to the computer, I noticed a big hole through one of the petals that I didn't notice in the view finder. Oh well, a photographer is responsible for everything in the frame, even the holes in the petals. I have to slow down and check my shots more carefully, before I fire the shutter.

randyhargraves
Very nice. I don't own a cat thankfully so I didn't have any problem meeting the criteria this week. Here is Ramsey Cascades in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, TN USA. Very nice hike if you're in the area; be sure to leave around dawn so you can arrive at the falls before the sun comes over the ridge.

dave_wilson1
Happy Wednesday all. Lucky for everyone ;-) I now started using PS Elements and have started to reorganize my files so I can post photos again. So if it is so kind to ablige me, I will attempt to post a shot of my Cinnamon Lillies growing up my back fence in a casual matter. The shot was made with Nikon D200 and 300mm 4.5 Ais lens ISO 400 handheld.

andrew_fedon
Sunday. Not my most photographically challenged subject, but a subject that makes my blood boil with anger, when I go to the busy public beach by the airport fence, and I see this kind of sight left by mindless morons. There was a lot more strewn around.
@Micheal B, are you in a car when photographing those Grizzlies ? Ain't it kinda dangerous ?
D700, 1/60, f/5.6, 90mm
