josephwalsh
Good Stuff! as usual...
Rene, that duck looks like she's coming in on final gear up!
Rick, lovin' that yellowleg click.
Roberta, fabulous daisy/water pic...
William, well beyond the usual "kute kid kapture."
Mine is a stairwell at San Fransisco MOMA.

LindaM
Lots of great work. I am commenting on a few that especially appeal to me....
Epp, Cute pup! What is a Portie?
Gej, I get dizzy just looking at your staircase!
Jim I, Neat shot. I like the moment stopped, and the man cut-off, with the focus on his hand, tying him to the dog and ball.
Paula W, The light is gorgeous. It seems to come from inside the flower.
Sanford G, I swear pelicans are the most wonderfully bizarre creatures
Eric A, Great shot. Love the purple light and the difference in expression of the smiling percussionist and the "too cool" guitarist"
Josh L, Perfect dof. Brings attention to exactly the right spot
Bogden N, Love the expression on the lady with the umbrella! She looks like she might come after you with it!
Rick M, He looks like he is on a mirror. Amazing.
Mark M, What an idyllic scene. Beautiful!
Janne K., That little one looks like he about ready to go, but the bigger one looks like he needs a rest :-)

For mine, the festival season is starting here in Louisiana, a sure sign that spring is here. This is from a local church fair down the street from my house.
D300, Nikon 28-70 @ 60 mm, 1/640 at f 6.3, iso 400

oskar_ojala
I need to come back later today to take a look at all the images...Wednesday is always so busy for me!
This week I had some reasonable chances to do good shooting during the weekend. Due to Murphy's law, the weather on Monday was far better than on Sunday, but I guess that's what always happens to us who have a day job. Spring is coming, which manifests itself in much longer days and on clear days in fairly pretty sunsets. I went out testing a new lens and a new tripod during sunset. I wasn't quite at the right place at the right time, but I'm still pleased, the light was a lot better than in the past months and my equipment performed excellently.

klum
Wednesdays are wonderful. Equinox has just passed by and along with it spring has arrived. The Earth is full of beautiful displays of nature during spring as all the plants and the animals illustrate their beauty in search of a lover. These lovers caught my eye as they enjoyed the beautiful pastels of the sky from atop a tree. Shot with my Nikon F55 film.

I'd also like to thank Isacc Sam and Peter Rafle for the comments last week. Appreciate it very much.

ldgalaxy
Matt Brennan - Beautiful "cloudscape". Very well done.
Greg Jones - The orange plumage sure is striking on the flamingos.
Jonan Fjellstett - This BW of a bridge turned out nicely. I really like the how the sun is backlighting the photo.
Tim Holte - Well done portrait.
My youngest daughter was married last Friday. I took this photo of her posing for our photographer and other family members outside of the church. What caught my eye on this photo was the groom leaning back casually trying to stay out of the way. Probably a good move on his part!
It had snowed a little during the morning and some snow flakes show up in the picture. The photographer was using a D90 for this shoot.

bnelson
Matthew Brennan - Nice cloud shot
Dave Wilson - Beautiful rose. Mine have aphids to keep them company
I have been wanting to dig out my old ais 105 2.5 with extension tubes for some close-ups so I went out this morning and captured this lupine with poppies in the background. Love that old lens.

thadley
I am back again to enjoy the quality and variations in all of the images. About 3 this morning it snowed last night covering everything but by now it is all gone here in Quebec (QC South Shore/Rive Sud). This image was taken a couple of weeks ago in Parc St.Catherine (QC). I had actually stopped making images and was making my way to the car when I spotted this and decided to take a few more shots. I unfolded the manfrotto tripod, mounted the D300 with the 70-300mm Nikkor VR with the VR turned off. There was no need for D-lighting setting but I left it on High. iso 200 RGB color space, @116mm, 1/160 s; F7.1 (I should have closed to f8 - more optimal I believe) and -1.3EV re metering (after checking the exposure histogram). Best regards to everyone.

peter_doucette
I'm not quite ready to splash my children all over the internet yet, so here is "some" of my son on the pommel horse during one of his competitions. Gymnastics season is almost over, so I hope to see what it is like taking pictures in good light, or at least, in light I can control.
