<p>Eddie Adams' photograph of general Loan shooting a bound man helped push Americans even further into demanding the end to the war in Vietnam. That photo became symbolic for everything that was going "wrong" in the Vietnam War. Media perspective is always more affective when accompanied with a High Impact Photo.</p>

<p>A photograph is made up of several things, including subject, light, composition, and.... if the photographer is lucky (or good!) 'gesture'....<br>

Usually the more 'gesture' the more 'impact' on the viewer....</p>

<p>If can also mean attention-getting in terms of graphics (i.e. visual impact), like strong compositional elements, saturated colors, strong contrast, etc. that really grab a veiwer's eye...an image that really 'pops'.</p>
