Experimants with slide film

Recommended Posts

can someone recommend me any kind techniques for experimenting with slide film?

i found 10 rolls of old slide films dated to 1994 and 2000 that weren't refrigerated (fuji and kodak). i tried one roll and it comes out purple so i think i'm going to cross process a couple. is there anything i can while exposing the film to have interesting results. like under exposure and push processing or using some kind of filters?

i would appreciate any recommendations.

Gary, i have plenty of fresh slide film.
now, did i ask about any magic? NO! did you read my post? i asked about experiments that can be done. you don't have anything constructive to post - don't post. why do i often get a feeling that those fancy icons next to the name get into the owner's head? it's hard to say.
BTW, the films are Eline crome, provia, and astia

I have an icon but that just means I talk a lot and payed my union dues. You are correct but I doubt it is the Icons it is the person. Just shoot have fun and enjoy. And when you get some Xproed remember that C-41 may add a stop or even 2 I shoot most Xpro 1 stop faster and I can tame the rest in PS. You sound like a person who is like me. Just shoots for fun and to see what else is out there besides plain old White Bread.

I took out a funny looking box camera the other day a Spartus Press Flash. of the 8 shots I got I liked 6.5 of them. Photography is not my money maker it is my hobby so I can afford not to be snooty I can afford to have fun.
