sknowles
I went to the "community" listing for the help forum (formerly feedback and other such things), and it's not in the list. I wanted to report that enhanced biographies aren't displaying for subscribers when the error page says it's for subscribers only. So, there are two questions here. Yeah, a two-fer. Where's the Waldo help forum? And why don't enchanced biographies display? I'm done, I need more coffee, my synapses are confused too early.
pmj
The Contact Us page (http://www.photo.net/info/contact-us) lists the Site Help forum (http://www.photo.net/site-help-forum/). I'm not really sure why it isn't listed along all the other forums, but my guess is that it isn't a photography forum (as Nikon, Canon, Wedding and Social are) and thus not of interest to the general public.

Don't know about enhanced biographies.
sknowles
Thanks but why was it moved? It used to be in the "community" listing.
Michael R Freeman
It is now listed under the Forums tab (Photo.net Site Help ).
lex_jenkins
Too many elementary questions like "How do I turn on my camera?" ended up on the "help" forum because it was too accessible. Apparently a lot of folks are either using the uninformed forum view (oops, make that "unified," sorry) and not reading the guidelines specific to each forum, or are baffled by the myriad choices and, seeing the friendly word "Help," flock there to ask where to install a fresh packet of bokeh in their old lenses.

Besides, everyone knows the help forum is for complaining about ratings, not to actually report problems with the site interface.

By the time you can find the help forum, you'll really, really need it. But if it was easy to reach nirvana, the damned place would be crowded with smug hipsters.
sknowles
Thanks. Now I'm smarter, again. Maybe they could start a game by randomly changing its name and hiding it, "Where's Waldo helper forum", and win a one year subscription, like to ImagePro.
