Missing responses?

This thread "which camera is best for beginner?" in the Beginner Photograpy Forum shows 9 responses, but when I

click on it, only one shows up. Is there a secret password I am missing to see the rest? :-)

The Beginner Forum requires moderator approval before postings can be read. I guess the index page doesn't take that into

account and simply shows the number of postings made, approved or not. I'll look into the pending messages. (Hopefully

Jin c.s. can look into the index page issue.)

I was just thinking about a separate post, but I'll put it here. It would be really, really nice if when you enter an answer on the beginner's forum, the resulting dialog taking you back to the forum would remind you that there will be a lag for moderator review before the posting shows up.

 

I usually come into forums from the Unified View, so it's not always the case that I realize which forum I am in, so it's been a little surprising to me when I don't find my new post on the forum.

 

One reason it would be nice to have a reminder is so people don't end up putting the same post in two or three times trying to get it to show up, so I would think it would save trouble for the moderator as well.

Got it. Didn't realize that there was moderator approval needed. From the content of the OP's question, it looks like this could be a busy thread for a moderator to keep up with.
