aaron meyer
"A real photographer cares more about figuring out the lighting setup on victoria secret models than the model themselves." Reminds me of a very old photographer joke: If you were walking along a beach at sunset with your camera and you came upon a man who was drowning in the waves and you had to make the choice to either save him or photograph the event... What film would you use?

bueh
In Germany the occupational title "photographer" is like a protected trademark -- only those with a formal (2- to 3-year long) official education as photographer are allowed to call themselves photographers. Others will be fined if they do so. So, no, I'm not a "photographer".
Leonard-just-Leonard
I have a picture of the moon and a bear taking a dump in the woods, does that count? or at least make me a 1/2 photographer? BTW it should be tongue in cheek, not and. sorry, it is the former programmer in me checking syntax.
mike_godwin1
I have a picture of the moon and a bear taking a dump in the woods, does that count?
If that counts them my photo of a deer taking a dump in the woods should count for at least a 1/4. I MUST be a real photographer......'cos I have a BLACK camera, with a HUGE lens (a Canon 400D / 17-85mm - with hood)..and that was enough for the Police to think that I was a professional photographer ...(and a terrorist to boot)!
