lex_jenkins Posted January 22, 2008 Share Posted January 22, 2008 It's been a few years since I was last in Austin but there was an older, more traditional type shop near the capitol and UT area. There's a more upscale shop just north of downtown that's probably gone mostly digital by now - that's the direction they were heading when I last dropped in. Lots of shops in the Dallas and Fort Worth area. If you happen to be in Fort Worth try Fort Worth Camera Supply on 7th Street. It's a very good pro shop. Arlington Camera, midway between Dallas and Fort Worth, is another top notch shop. Dallas Camera on Chemical Street - call first, dunno if they still handle film. Found an uncommon original lens hood for the 17/3.5 Tamron Adaptall there for five bucks, same day I'd found the lens itself elsewhere earlier in the day!
