slideshow option

I do not know if others will agree but I would like a slideshow option

when looking at the portfolio of a member. I believe that it would

facilitate the viewing procedure. Brian, is something like that

possible to be implemented?

Agreed. I think it would be useful for both the viewer and the photographer.

Change the cache settings to "Every visit to the page" and leave the slideshow keep playing. You don't need too many people to bring down the server.

Too bad if it would bring down our server(s). It would be a nice option.

 

I visited another site last night and it had that option.

 

For personal use, I often use the Windows slideshow option to view my numerous image files as a way of searching out overlooked gems (found a few too). (Browser in Photoshop CS overwhelms my computer and hangs it up -- hard drives (11) are too slow, even hooked up one by one individually. I use the Windows screensaver slide show option -- wonderful fades and transitions)

The flickr.com website appears to wrap photos in a Flash application. It looks very nice. I

wonder if something like that can be accomplished here as well. It certainly sounds like a

fun project.

 

IANAL, but for those of you who are: I don't mean to imply that photo.net should just

"copy" or "borrow" ideas from flickr.com. Just providing an interesting example.

This is exactly the example I had on my mind. In flickr it is very easy to see the work of others with the slideshow option.
