120 IR films after shooting?

If you like shooting Rollei R3 film, you can keep this plastic roll container to use in the future with all your exposed roll films:

Especially IR film needs a faster development after exposure but the Rollei IR-400 films are not super critiqual like the HIE emulsion.

Wrap it in a black plastic paper (e.g. from photo paper) and put the film in your refrigerator. Prevent always humidity on your roll film and that the backing paper is getting wet.

Here some latest development info for all Rollei films:

and a nice article about the Rollei IR-400 film (but in German language):

Best regards,

I got a whole bunch of ADOX 120 plastic cans from J&C for about 10 cents each. I take it you do not do your own processing? If you do and you don't have a can and want to do it within a day just wrap it in Aluminum foil. I never trust sending even normal film off to anyone let alone IR.

Good luck and post the results soon ...

Hi Martin!

Many people taking every day a tablet of ascorbine acid for their good health! These tablets are coming in a roll film sized plastic containers, which are just perfect for film storage. I clean them, and put some black plastic insulation tape around. Works perfectly, and costs almost nothing! Try it out!
