Sandy, I love the inner bezel tachymeter (right?). It reminds me of a watch my Dad gave me about 40 years ago, and that I wish I could find today. Probably in a box somewhere...

  5. Wrong date, a day out as usual. Most people would also say on the wrong wrist.

When my father went to Switzerland about 50 years ago, he brought me this, a nicer watch than he purchased for himself.

  9. Back when I was still wet behind the ears with salt water, this was the most durable underwater watch I had. watch.jpg

  10. Haven't worn a watch since I started working at a computer, maybe 40 years ago, clocks in house, in car, on computer, on TV etc. Cell phone has a clock if I get desperate while out walking but don't remember when I was last desperate.

Watches? I don't need no damn watches.

  13. I've had the strap for 30+ years. The watch cost about $15. The battery lasts more than 3 years, then I replace the watch with an identical (or near) watch. It costs less than replacing the battery. I've done this for more than 20 years. Who cares if it gets stolen!
