A little bit of "TIMELY" fun
35 years as a Work Watch - still ticking.
5' ago (I always have the wrong day)
Panasonic Lumix G 14 on M 4/3 camera
Like Sandy, my Saturday-knock-around-doing-chores watch:
Samsung Galaxy J7, edited with PS-5.
Sandy, I love the inner bezel tachymeter (right?). It reminds me of a watch my Dad gave me about 40 years ago, and that I wish I could find today. Probably in a box somewhere...
Wrong date, a day out as usual. Most people would also say on the wrong wrist.
Don’t really need to know what time it is...
When my father went to Switzerland about 50 years ago, he brought me this, a nicer watch than he purchased for himself.
Back when I was still wet behind the ears with salt water, this was the most durable underwater watch I had.
Haven't worn a watch since I started working at a computer, maybe 40 years ago, clocks in house, in car, on computer, on TV etc. Cell phone has a clock if I get desperate while out walking but don't remember when I was last desperate.
Watches? I don't need no damn watches.
A 50th birthday present to myself, some time ago -
I've had the strap for 30+ years. The watch cost about $15. The battery lasts more than 3 years, then I replace the watch with an identical (or near) watch. It costs less than replacing the battery. I've done this for more than 20 years. Who cares if it gets stolen!
an oldie but a goodie (1985, as I recall) -
