What a steambath! A perfect chance to stay inside and catch up on some post production chores. I had cause to revisit one of the subjects from a recent litter shoot, and this one printed very nicely on a 17x22 sheet of Epson Cold Press Bright. Used your Nikon rig to catch a detailed subject headed for a large print? Share a photo!

liljuddakalilknyttphotogra
A shot from a few days ago. A small California Preying Mantis about 2 cm in length, that's less than 1 inch. I like to challenge myself & not do the same thing over & over again. Makes things boring to me. I like trying different stuff. janahughes
Hello Everybody,
thank you very much for the kind comments on my last week's photo, I very much appreciate them.
This week I had a go at film noir style of photography, I used one light fitted with beauty dish, grid and barn doors and I asked the model to lift her hand to create strong shadow on her face. I liked the colour version better, than the B&W version of this photo, thus I am presenting it in colour.
Have a lovely week and I look forward to seeing all your photos.
Jana
Nikon D700, 24-70mm f/2.8@ISO 200, f/5, 1/125s

photojen
We just returned from a vacation of 10 days in Kennebunkport, Maine. I took many photos- boats, sun, beach and so forth. This photo I am posting here is one of my personal favorites. My daughter, Eleanor, found a sand dollar and I think her expression sums up her enthusiasm. I love it for many reasons. Good times...Happy Wednesday to you all.

Apurva Madia
While in Poona last week for a conference, I was travelling by car and my chauffeur stopped at a traffic junction. This girl with a baby in her hand approached me for some favor. I did the favor and in return got this lovely picture.

Nikon D90, AF-S Nikkor 18-55 VR

jeannean_.
Good Wednesday to you all. Very nice group of photos up so far! Mine is a different view of the canal by my house. This is from one side of the road to the other side (underground pipe running under the road). Every time I see it, I'm reminded of those old fashion key holes. wmervine
Morning all. Love being able to start a wednesday admiring the wonderful work posted every wed. And 3 wonderful smiles courtesy of Jennifer Apurva and David really make a good start to the day.
Been pretty hectic at work of late so not much chance to break out the camera. So the other night decided to try my hand at some product style photography. The model being a Mamiya 35mm SLR I was given recently. Quite a change of pace shooting film. (my F80 I won on auction is on it's way, so will be able to submit here in the future too.) I thought the grey background looked period for this camera.

jannekaakinen
Good Nikon Wednesday morning, afternoon or evening! I took a two day cruise to Stockholm last week, visited Fotografiska (excellent museum, excellent exhibitions. If you're ever in Stockholm, this place is a must) and Nationalmuseum. This one was shot on our way back to the ship.
