DavidTriplett
This is the additional weekly image thread for the Nature Forum. While images posted to this thread should still be nature in theme, it may contain a small amount of human-made objects and therefore less restricted than the Monday in Nature threads. Please see this discussion for more details: Alternative weekly thread in Nature forum Each participant please post no more than just one image per weekly thread. Still stuck in the house, for the most part, so today's kickoff image is, again, something of a throwback. This gull was a cooperative poser on the beach at Fort Bragg, California, in the summer of 2014.

ShunCheung
We have a local lake in the south San Francisco Bay area where a lot of local residents go fishing. The counties in our area would stock those lakes with fish every couple of weeks or so, and before Covid-19, they would even have fishing lessons for children. I think each time they stock literally a ton of fishes, i.e. a thousand or two. Of course the birds take advantage of the situation also.
