Indian dancer

  1. Just did this to compare the distracting bright arch with no bright arch, plus cropping at top and right side.
    I like the original shot's sharp detail and natural lighting but the dancer occupies only the bottom half of the
    frame. Some cropping at the top would be beneficial for the composition, then if you prefer square format,
    cropping on the right side could bring it back to square format. The arches at the top are too dark to be
    of interest to the viewer. To take a "quick shot" is fine, it's better than getting nothing, but in this case, perhaps
    taking a little extra time to plan the composition would have been a big improvement IMO
