Remember: only one image each week!

Happy Thursday everyone! Here in Kentuckiana, (Louisville, KY/Southern Indiana) as we call it, the weather has been quite peculiar. It's the week after Labor Day here in the States and it has barely gotten above 60 deg. F these past few days. Temperatures are typically in the high 80's or 90's this time of year, so the 60's is quite a shock. It gives me a false sense of autumn approaching. I know it is approaching, but it isn't here yet. I'm sure we'll hit 90 again soon. Anyways, with school being so busy I failed to get the camera out yet again this week, regretfully. With autumn on its way, I can't help but to think about the farm/winery a few miles away that we tend to visit quite a bit in the next few months. They have pumpkins for Halloween and trees for Christmas, but most importantly the release of their annual noveau wine the week before Thanksgiving. So to get in the spirit, (no pun intended) here is an archive photo of wine bottles from the winery. Let's see all those great photos!

Spearhead
Thursday comes earlier in Kentuckiana than NYC, I think.

Brendan

I'm a little irritated by the light on his nose, I moved the stand right after this one, but I never got the same expression again.
Music and Portraits Blog: Life in Portugal

nathangardner
Haha! Its either now or at 6:30am when I wake up. My eyes won't stay open much longer. As I always say, "It's Thursday in Greenwich." And that wasn't the last thing I wanted to see before I fall asleep. I'm gonna have nightmares now...thanks Jeff.
daniel_harris
Was passing through before calling it a night and saw the new thread was up. The first home high school volleyball match of the season took place. I always knew the ball gets deformed when it is hit, but I was surprised how much. This girl can hit.

ray_price5
This is a ten year old photo never seen by anyone but family. I thought now might be a good time to share it. I'm always amazed at how when everyone was fleeing ground zero NYC 's bravest kept rushing to the towers. lee_derrickson
Some great photos this week. The youngest grandson paid us a visit, and we took him up for a ride in a "big truck." Then he got the opportunity to sit behind the wheel and pretend he was driving. This was a big deal for a 5-year old boy.

david_rohrer
I went spider hunting in my back yard. I spotted this web early in the morning, but by the time I got around to shooting it the spider had already packed up for the day and had taken the main web down. Lucky for me I went back about 30 minutes after dark and watched him rebuild his web. Then I stuck around and got a few macro shots of him. 40D 50/1.8 on extension tubes, 430exii. <a href=" title="Orb weaver (extreme crop) by DL Rohrer, on Flickr">
