  1. Important: please keep your image under 700 pixels wide/high for in-line viewing, and please try to keep the FILE SIZE UNDER 300kb. Note that this includes photos hosted off-site (at Flickr, Photobucket, your own site, etc). Are you new to this thread? The general guidelines for these Thursday threads are right here. Remember: only 3 images each week.
Thursday=Canon posting day, so let's see your efforts for this week. Mine is from a street fair in Little Italy.

  2. This helicopter was lifting equipment onto a roof a few blocks from me. I used my 70-200 F/4 and 1.4x extender to get some shots with my 80D. I opened my window and removed the screen.

  10. I decided to put my Pentax down this week and use my old trusty Canon 30D for some shots. It's definitely a little dated but still works like brand new. This is what I captured:

  14. Detail of Flame Azalea (Rhododendron calendulaceum). We're trying to reestablish this species on our property. It's currently listed as extirpated in PA. Our plants were cultivated from wild seed and purchased from a native plant preserve.
