bob_king2
You would not get a great deal. A quick check on eBay revealed completed listings from $40 to $130 for 50E camera kits (body + lenses). A body only went for $25. Maybe hang on to it? I've kept my EOS film bodies which I use for B&W, which I process myself.

Cheers, Bob
amol
I read your title, my first thought was $25... I see Bob actually researched it...

The time to sell film equipment (unless it's rare vintage stuff), was like 7yrs ago... and even then... I would just keep it now.
PuppyDigs
I tried to sell my old Élan on FM for $25 a couple years back and nobody was interested. Sometimes the light’s all shining on me. Other times I can barely see. - Robert Hunter
john_tran14
I have contacted many people selling their Canon EOS (and Minolta AF) film equipments. The common practice is: you sell (or buy) the lenses, and the bodies are thrown in (we do this also at prestigious camera stores)
jamie_robertson2
I bought a mint 50E 2 years ago on eBay for £20 GBP and they often sell for less than that. They are worth nothing and never will be. Sad, but true.
davebell
Jamie, you were ripped off.... Two years ago I bought one on eBay for £10.50 (around $16 on current exchange rates). It is so mint it looks like it came straight out of the box and was never used.
peter_j2
Give it to the Salvation Army or a Goodwill store for them to sell for $10.
Andy Collins
I think you should keep it, buy some film, and go out and take some Spring shots. Even when you get a digital camera, it's still fun to shoot some film now and then, and your 50E is a very nice camera.
hjoseph7
Took my Elan 2 to the thrift-shop a few years ago. The guy at the counter told me "that camera model was rejected by the computer Sir"
