Always very welcome.
Thanks.
I think the first roll of film I ever developed, in a tray by inspection under a safelight, was a roll of 620 Kodak Verichrome Safety Film (orthochromatic, introduced in 1931 and discontinued in 1956). Verichrome Pan replaced the orthochromatic version and that seems to have gone up to 1995 or so (- that's got to be one reason it is so common in your "sample").

one of the first cameras I owned ( after the terrible leaky box camera I took to camp ranger in 1948)
was matal bersion of the trapazoidal camera.
it was terrible. the flash plugged in on the side with two straight pins. notjhing was plated and contact was erratic.
when I would film I hears a loud scratching scraping noise.
it was a puzzle to put back together.
I am glad your found film camera is a better one.

The Kennedy era...Love the bobbly sox and the cake-tin hat...Despite the shadow, that lady had a certain savoir faire about her...It seems so long ago that we had to "dress-up" for special occasions, on a regular basis, "best clothes" and all that...Great nostalgia, Gene, and that includes the Verichrome. Many thanks.

Gene, your contributions to this forum are one of the primary reasons I keep coming back to it. That said, I must have missed your earlier presentation of the found images from the Brownie Flash Six-20. The photo of the mature couple at the front of their Chevrolet -- what a fabulous capture! So glad you recovered it to share with us. Thanks.
