There are alot of ways around it good sir, FOR example since the theme of the rig is to use a camera attached to a macro bellows.. all you need to do is get a tripod head that can attach to a cheapo macro bellows, can get them for 50$ or less at B&H and then tip the head to vertical and simply arrange the setup so that the bellows is aimed at the floor.

When that particular photograph comes up, one normally doesnt question the change in "impact" if the childs FACE is blurred out. The question of a reasonable mind is, why wasnt a different area blurred out of that photograph?

As to film being the sign of "fine art" ALL fine art programs teach the masters of fine art as painters or photographers who all used film cameras to create. There are no current masters of fine art, sure there are guys in japan who made a name for themselves with film in the 1990s and have since transitioned into digital, but none are masters per se.

You really cant make the claim that EVERYONE buying prints made from film negatives are buying the prints SOLELY on the basis of "ooo, it was taken on film i want it.." MOST if not all the buyers of "fine art prints" in general, are merely buying pieces based upon the following.. general theme of a piece If someone likes cats, a medium format photo of a cat on a sunny window ledge will be purchased. FAR too many buyers/collectors will simply buy based on what they already have, so if suzy has a house with a nautical decor,, all she gonna buy is nautical photos. "apparent value of the artist", ie a "banksy' scribble will always have a higher purchase, and resale value then anything Mann took with his film camera. ONLY because the media has given "banksy' a massive "retro, bad boy image" for idiots with money to buy into... on resale value, the more an artists works are purchased, the value of each one goes up. And the "smart" buyers know that if they have multiples of a single persons artistic output, their collection can command a higher price tag.

I didnt want to participate in the other current thread on software alternatives. The only editing software i have experience with is Corel Paintshop back in the early 200's and in the last year i have tried IrfanView with minimal luck, and i have tried using the Nikon made editing software, not the latest version though. I taught myself the corel program for fun, havent used it since perhaps 2004. irfanView was junk, wouldnt let me dow what it was supposed to do, hijack all photo file son my system it was installed onto. It did let me crop and cut photos. The Nikon programs i have used are not good, the second to newest refuses to show me NEF files as native lossless 14 bit, it shows me the 14bit lossless exif data, but the images are all dropped to high end jpegs when i open them. And the program wont let me cut a piece out of a photo with crop.. it makes the part i wanted to save to a new image file simply dissapear, and a big hole stay in the image i tried cropping. Which software can i actually trust when it comes to tuturials and program information in the product description?

Its not a lack of choice that is the issue, its a lack of consistency. When you are only using multiples of one make of camera, everything flows no matter what the camera you are using, controls, etc. When i grab my range finder its like WTF.... for about an hour and then im done shooting with it for perhaps another 4 or 5 months

rain jacket the best bet, however i believe the nikon website claims that their "weather proofing" means you can take it in the shower with you and rinse dirt off of it with the shower head, just NOT leave it in a puddle. And the weather sealing only works if you leave EVERYTHING closed, dont open up the battery cover or the memory cards,,, etc.

macro diopter rings arent my thing... i have a film camera and have used them, and well a 1mm difference can take an object that when i hit the shutter is about 80% of the frame, and take it down to 10-20% of a frame. And when you are trying to get a "posed" photo of a dead moth and fly, well you dont have alot of time to do a retake with film.

doesnt look like the background would say f/32 the tiny circles make it in MY opinion based on MY experiences,, more of a f/22 STill it could be digital grain.. but still its better then some of what i have seen online.

i need to use the lens and camera OUTSIDE in something called SUNLIGHT... i need to wear polarized sunglasses outside,, i can use an optical view finder just fine. but NOT use the screen. and chimping the histogram is not very useful. If you get bored open up your favorite photo software and take a close look at a lossless RAW file and a standard jpeg or even lossless jpeg of same image. i normally find that the histogram shifts right about 20% between the two formats.

And when i need to replace my D7500 i know ill be replacing it with a FULL FRAME camera, no brand selected.

The D7500 has unique features on it.. cant remember what its called but i think its the auto focus assistance light, the little white light on the right side of the lens mount thats used in low light by the auto focus system, that light can light a closet up rather well.

my 7500 does the odd grass color too. no matter how i spin the CPL on my lens. Even get it when i use my sigma lens without the cpl. Sad but its something in the software and image sensor. But the rest of the image looks too "bright"

What are the options for going macro with a D7500? The lowest cost macro they make the manual controlled aperture, manual focus is only availabe from canada, and you have to pay first and wait at least 5 months before it might get shipped. The current Nikon production macro lens are expensive, even used is only 20% off. Ive looked at Sigma macro lenses, but they all seem to be APS-C and im hoping for a full frame format compatible. Tamron is alot more affordable, but lacks the stabalizer systems... I can toss in a macro extension kit to hook the camera up to my tripod. then id be close if not over the price of a SIgma macro lens. I was considering a macro bellows, but i would have to use the live view function for getting the shutter and aperture correct, and i cant read the view screen much at all with my sun glasses and my eye condition requires sun glasses outside year round. As i need to keep the penta prism going, i guess im stuck with a used macro from nikon, or a new one from nikon or tamron or sigma. I dont know if a macro diopter kit is useful or not in comparison to say getting one of the 1: to 5:1 macro lenses at b&h.. I just want optical clarity, a quality image that can be printed on 8x10 photo paper on a hp injet

Sadly, the "art department" will only interact with paying students in their art programs when it comes to finding someone that wants to get infront of a camera. Same with the photo groups, sure they will do something now and then, but for the privilege youll have to pay you monthly membership dues before theyll give you any data.

fellow D7500 owner here. have you tried using the auto white balance setting 2 i believe that is labelled "keep image softness" it works alot in and out.
