Latest update
I used a heat gun, like a hair dryer, and that freed it up.
That was earlier today, I just went out and it is tightening up again.
I will try some lube when it gets here.
Thanks Don

Hello
Thanks Again, I have removed the lens group so no problem with the naptha migrating into the lens.
I am having no luck with getting it to free up so I reread so old threads and have ordered a couple of chems that are suppose to help free it up and relube the unit.
If there are any other suggestions I would appreciate it.
thanks

Hello
Thanks for all the advice, this does have the helocoid focus behind the shutter?
I have some lighter fluid I will try that first and let it soak for a while

Thanks Chuck
I have it sitting in the HOT California sun right now to see if that frees it up.
If it does free up do I take the rear element out to remove the lens unit
Thanks

Thank You both
I figured a slow film as that is what was available back then.
The Manual did mention something about the ASA that I glossed over until I was ready to shoot.
Thanks again

Hello
I found the above camera in original box with directions and was wondering what speed film would be best to use due to the two speed shutter
Thanks for any advice

Hello All
I recently received the above camera that is in excellent condition except that the take up film spool carrier is missing and I think one of the little posts is missing as well.
If any one has this part or parts or knows of a place I can get them I would appreciate it.
Thanks

Hello
Thanks, I did find the 58mm 1.2 on the bay, I was searching with the X and none came up
The SRT202 and the three lenses cost me 150.00 so the 58mm is about twice that so got a good deal.
Thanks

Hello All
Question more on the lenses or the one lens I can not find anything on the "bay" about, the camera is in pristine condition as are the lenses
It came with a Rokkor-X 50mm 1.7 and a Rokkor 100mm 2.5 and the one I need info on is a Rokkor-X 58mm 1.2
I know the 1.2 lenses are more expensive but since I can't find it is it rare as well
Thanks

Hello Joe
Is that prerinse and is it 120?
Maybe its Ilford films I am seeing it with?

Not really sure how you could leave backing paper with the film and install on reel?
I have had prerinse come out black or dark when doing BW film, I have found this on different films, no one else?
Thanks Don

Thank you both,
I have only used the kit once, the developer looked fine when I poured it out of the brown glass bottle I use for storage that are filled to top.
The film was a roll of Kodak 200 Gold, I think, and a roll of Ferrania Solaris 800, which I think may have been the problem. It was expired in 2011 and I didn't think about remjet or know if they used remjet on this film.
If it was remjet can I still use the kit or dump the whole thing?
Thanks
Again for the help

Hello
I was developing C41 with a Cinestill kit and as using 35mm I did not prerinse the the film and when I dumped the developer back in to the bottle it was black like the prerinse on 120 film is when you dump
So just wondering if the developer is done for? Also I got nothing on the negatives they were all blank and dark.
This was my second batch of C41 I have tried the first came out ok
Thanks

Nice Arthur. Here's a couple. The bridge is the old 1st street bridge in Los Angeles built in the early 20th century in the Neo-Classical style. The Santa Ana City Hall, the city I grew up in, was built in 1935 in the Deco style and is one of the earliest of those. Santa Ana was barely on the map in 1935 but was the county seat for Orange County home of the awful tv shows of the desperate housewives fame and "the OC", another tv show, neither is a bright spot in our local history. Sorry bout the glare on the building.
Great shots
What film and camera?

Hello
Here are a couple from the Nikon FE that I had the meter repaired on and a CLA
The film is Fuji Superia X-tra 400
This is the first color roll I have developed, My scanning leaves a lot to be desired! I tried Silverfast first and had nothing but problems so tried the Epson and did a little better.
As always comments and critiques are welcome
Thanks
Don

Some random test shots out of the newly acquired Kodak Retina I (Type 010) with Ektar 50/3.5 lens. Arista EDU Ultra 100 film, Ilford DD-X 1+4 8min @ 68F. Nothing artistic, but the lens really deserves its reputation! And I am content with my newly developed distance estimation skill.

Hello All
Well I got the helicoid free and smooth I reinstalled the lens assy and locked up.
So looks like the focus on the lens is locked also, Can I soak the entire assy in alcohol?
Or any other suggestions short of taking apart?
Thanks
Don
