  1. It seems like it will be a benefit to videographers/sports and news photogs. No shutter shake when blasting out continuous exposures or shutter roll. But I certainly don't need it. for fast panning video. But not something I imagine most of us need. Seems like it would cut out the cost of the shutter which is a big complicated mechanism cameras won't need I guess.
  2. I thought maybe chemistry too. When you look at the negative under a loupe the striations are there? Maybe the effect was enhanced by scanning.
  3. I usually don't go for photographs that become highly graphical, but this is just so well done and such an impactful image I can't but help really liking this!
  4. I use the back button for exposure lock. It's a little slower but not too much. I have to use the EV mode to really get the benefit because of thE WYSWYG. I'll have to try the CAF. That would be on a Fuji.
  5. I've never tried it Sanford. Have you? I think my fuji has some sort of capability, butI've never used it. Did you get results you liked and if you've used it, is there certain situations that it worked well in Street photography?. I may be a little old school as I've always panned on moving subjects though not always well.
  6. Winter in Southern California
  7. Orange County Fair, Costa Mesa, CA
  8. ISO 800 on a D200 which is probably like 3200 on newer digital cameras.
  9. Awesome, I didn't see it until you mentioned it!
  10. Lex Jenkins moderates the Street and Documentary Group posts on Facebook. It's a good group and he does a good job.
  11. Yep with the focal spot on the lower right instead of the center.
  12. Actually the whole rangefinder window is very close to 35mm
  13. I love the pic Sanford and I basically think of some of the Fujis as rangefinderish. Also they can use Leica lenses as well. face to face:
  14. Yep I couldn't connect for several days. Thought maybe the site finally died. But it seems to work now.
