2. Im just trying to figure out how i can use the camera to take shots in real low light. A little disappointing that its looking like thats just not something you can do on this camera. Thanks Kmac and Charles.
 3. Hey guys! I'm wondering if anyone has figured out how to cock the shutter on a Widelux f8 without winding on the film? The reason is i would like to take some multiple exposures for night time shots and even at ISO 3200 and 1/15th, I'm not getting enough light. There isn't a bulb mode either...
 4.
strange thing then is on ebay a lot of sellers in Europe and some in south Africa are selling the IIIg with an elmar2.8 or a summicron 50 for over $1500 or around 1400 euros! Some WAY more!

 5.
Not as a collector but rather a user. I would like to use them on an IIIg.
If he "threw in" (if i can convince him, which i think i may be able to) an IIIg in good clean condition, would it be worth it then?

 6. I have been offered the following by someone I know who is selling off his gear: Hektor 135/4,5 with VF Elmar 90/4 no VF Elmar 50/2.8 with VF Summaron 35/3.5 no VF Hektor 28/6.3 with VF Superangulon 21/4 with VF. all in good condition visually and glass. all for $2900 or i guess that works out to 2700 Euros for the guys on that side of the pond. I've got a camera to use them on of course! lol The "Why?" isn't important. My question is, does seem like a good deal to you guys for someone who would like a set of LTM lenses like this [Me! ]? Yes or no?

Someone is selling this. I had my heart set on an iiig but if you guys think this is good deal at least then I'll buy it and give it a year to see how I get on with it. If I'm not keen could always upgrade to the IIIG later.
So, assuming it was in good mechanical condition and all glass was clean etc and you had some spare money and someone offered u this at the price mentioned, would you accept? Hypothetically speaking of course!

 8.
I did, thanks @Jim A.

Anyone else?? :)

 13.
Can the old leitz Elmar 50mm 3.5 or 35mm 3.5 screw mounts be re-painted by the pros or are they the wrong material?
Im thinking of getting a silver/chrome and having it painted black. Is this possible? I know newer leicas cant be painted because the metal would melt or something like that so just wondering

Thanks guys!
Jo
