    Corked

Ricardo, I took a lot of photos here trying to find exposure and lighting that I liked. I wanted to see how much detail I could get with my new macro lens as well as find something that was appealing in a different way. This one felt good. Yes, I did end up with a headache. So, I had to have a glass of wine :) Sometimes I enjoy sitting with my camera and just playing around to see what I can do. Thank you for your kind words. Peter

    Play Me A Tune

Ricardo; Thank you for your kind words. Simple seems to catch my eye also. I was standing in this position as I approached the piano. Something seemed appealing at this spot so I shot the photo. Peter
  10. Jim; I use the same lens you used on this photo for my macros. I like the effect you delivered here showing the train coming out from what appears to be a fog. Very nicely done. Peter
  11. I always imagine what the view was like for the person that lived there years ago when I see these. I like the faded darkness of this photo. Well done.
  12. I agree with what you say about doors. I've shot a lot of them. I liked this one so posted it. Thank you for the kind words.
  13. Thank you for your kind words.
  14. Robin, Though a sad scene, thank you for posting this. Peter

  16. I like the detail of this photo. You have given it that eerie appeal that makes one want to and not want to go down that road. I like that a lot. Well composed and very well processed. Thank You for sharing it.

    Radiant!

You did it again :) Wonderful sky.
  18. I know if I were standing there with this in front of me that my hands would be shaking to take a perfect photo. You took a perfect photo. I love the details of the buildings and also the wavy reflection of the water. You also did a wonderful job on the lighting. I like this photo a lot.

    Partners!

Laurent, I've seen a few of your photos on this subject. The sky is wonderful. It adds so much depth. The colors are bright and crisp. I think this photo is very well done. Great shooting my friend. Peter

Siamak, If I were to name this photo then I would call it, "Pondering". The vignette and slightly out of focus along with the tones give this a older aged look. I like that a lot. It is a very nice pose. Peter
  21. Diane, Thank you for the kind comments. I was trying to go for an eerie look with the focus being on the hole in the middle of the tree. Enjoy your day. Peter
