1.
Thanks everybody for the comments.
And thanks again for making me aware that I was doing such a huge blunder by putting film in the canister. Sorry for myself.
I have seen one cheap scanner online, which I think, will be suitable for my needs. Below is the link. Can you please give your opinion on that?
Thank you.
http://uae.souq.com/ae-en/digital-35mm-negative-and-slide-film-scanner-black-10316955/i/

 2.
I recently started developing B&W films at home. Now I am looking for a scanner which can produce decent images for printing in 5" x 7" size. Which scanner is available in the price range of $50-$60? Is there any scanner which scans uncut negatives because I am storing my negatives in its original canister? Thanks for your answers.

 3.
Thanks everyone for the response!
My room temperature is around 28/27 celsius.
I will rehearse the process of controlling the temperature before doing the actual film processing.

 19.
Thanks to everyone for reply.
Now here in Dubai, the tap water is coming at 43/44 deg. celsius. You can't wash your hands or utensils for too long without harming your hands. We have to draw water from the taps and store in the night for 12 hours for taking bath in the next day morning. When I checked the stored water in the tub in the morning it was around 28C deg.
Water is gaining heat at 1 deg C per 5 minutes, when I checked yesterday. I set the water at 19C and after 5 minutes it was 20C.

 20.
I am going to do my first film processing at home. Ilford suggests 20 degree Celsius for Ilfosol. The instruction says that start with 23<a title="Click to Continue > by Advertise" href="http://s.igmhb.com/click?v=QUU6MTE5ODYzOjEzNTE6ZGVncmVlIGFuZDoxYWVmNDFiMWVhNjE1ODNhMWNjZmY0OWU4YTBlZDhkNjp6LTI0NDktODgyMzA3NzA6cGhvdG8ubmV0OjM0MjQzODozZjRiNzA0Y2M0NWE3ZDZiOWM0ZjAyMDA0ODU2MDMxMjpkYjM5ODY4YTk0YjE0YmIzYjhlY2NiYzA2YzBhODE4MzoxOmRhdGFfc3MsNzI4eDEzNjY7ZGF0YV9yYywxO2RhdGFfZmIsbm87OjY3MTMwODE6&subid=g-88230770-925df666b9884bf3a6ef9bd86309abe6-&data_ss=728x1366&data_rc=1&data_fb=no&data_tagname=A&data_ct=image_only&data_clickel=link&data_sid=2dc92da8f1dd65f91566570849412ce2" target="a652c_1469036905_photonet_342438"> degree and eventually it will come down to 20 degree because of heat loss. But when I checked water at 20 degree, it is absolutely cold. I was thinking that it would be warm at 20. My question is, is my thermometer correct? Is it really cold at 20 degree celsius? May be I am having this feeling because I am checking the water temperature for the first time in my life :) Please clear my doubt regarding this.
As a side note, here in Dubai, there is no such thing called 'heat loss'. There is only 'heat gain' because the current temperature in Dubai is 43 degree celsius :( . So I have to start with 18 or 19 degree to reach 20 degree during development.

 21.
I joined this community today and this is my first question.
My camera is Nikon F4s and when I was making a food photography with Nikkor S Auto 50mm f1.4 Non-AI lens, I noticed something. If you have experience with F4s+any Non-Ai lens+Nikon speedlight, you may be able to clear my doubt.
This was my initial set up: Aperture priority exposure, f5.6, SB-25 speedlight on the camera and camera selected 1/60 shutter speed in stop-down metering method (as it was Non-Ai lens).
Then I shifted to manual exposure program before shooting anything just to avoid stopping the lens down during exposure. I set the same exposure values (f5.6 and 1/60) and SB-25 was on, but the meter showed underexposure.
So I have two questions: Why did the camera meter show underexposure in Manual mode, when I set up the same values as in Aperture priority mode?
What would be the reason for the camera for not selecting a top shutter speed as F4s flash sync speed is 1/250?
Thanks for your answers.
