  1. You did a strong composition Richard, the sharpness and the idea are great and impressive, but the tonality is a bit unkind to watch. I would prefer a harder contrast and gradation, but that's only my opinion! How many pictures did you combine for this one?

    Best regards and Happy Holidays,

It's amazing, but if I saw the picture without the title, I wouldn't think of red, but with the title it appears very fitting for me. Like it very much!

    Hi Cleeo,

this is a really creative way to deal with mushrooms as models. Light and tonality is magnificant. Edward Weston would have been proud of you!

    Hi Sandra,

you made a nice composition, especially the zoomed leave-structure in the drops is very nice. What I miss here - but it's only my opinion - would be a harder focal point, for example at the margin of the upper leave, a higher f/stop might be useful. Nevertheless an interesting picture, you could think about a B/W-processing.

    Best regards, Sebastian

Paul, a really great composition, especially the tonal aspects are very awesome! The hard backlight despite, details of the tractor are clear to see, without losing the dark-silloutte-effect of this lighting. Excellent work!

    Well done, John!

Like the relation between sky and seashore.

The basic warmtone is cut or antagonized by the dark shadow of the landscape.

    Works!

Although it seems a bit, like dropping the camera, while walking through a forest, I like this composition very much. Reminds me of the "Seventeen seconds" album artwork by The Cure. Nice!
