It looks like you composed this hoping there would be lightning in the lower left. If that was thew case, great job! Fireworks are allways hard to compose, for me anyway. You never know where they will go off. I tried fireworks pictures in Yankton SD this year but they rained out.

There is not anything I could say that is wrong with this picture, but it just lacks interest.

I like this shot. I would like to see the end of the smallest string (lower right) included in the picture though. Overall, on my monitor anyway, it seems too hot and overexposed. The subject and angle of view are great.

I love to take fireworks pictures. As such I know how hard it is to get a good foreground element or background to line up with the fireworks. You did a great job setting this shot up. Your exsposure and composition are excellent as well. I would like to know how far away from the building were the fireworks (and how far away from you) and also what lens did you use?

The horizontal lines in this picture are actually power lines. Next time I may take the picture from the middle of the street to eliminate parked cars (they close off the street for fireworks).

Just looking for some comments. I am getting ready for the 4th.

This is something a friend showed me how to do(paint with light). I
have not worked with still-lifes much and could use some pointers.

I LIKE THE PHOTO BETTER THAN IF YOU HAD CENTERED THE SAIL BOAT. I THINK IT WOULD BE EVEN BETTER IF YOU PLACED THE BOAT WHERE THE 1/3 DIVISION LINES INTERSECT.

I would suggest including the suport member of the roof (arch)as a forgound element. Forground elements realy add depth.

This photo has recieved lots of ratings but no comments. I would
like to know what people like/dislike about this shot.
