Thank you. My cameras and I live for fireworks shows as they are one of my favorite subjects.

A very beautiful image I love the tonality and I think shooting it with a medium format camera did the picture a ton of justice.

Comments & critiques appreciated.

Torre that is one very beautiful image. I think the only thing I would have done is included more of the legs but this is coming from a guy that is looking for the perfect model to recreate the Betty Grable image that won WW II.

Wondering how I can prevent the motion blur when the subject might
suddenly move as what happened with this shot. My thinking is
increasing the shutter speed am I on the right track with this?
Thanks & regards

Thank you.
This was a totally spontaneous image. Was about 9 in the morning and I had been watching this couple interact for a few minutes when I decided to take the picture. What prompted it was the way she was holding her hands as she ate a cinnamon roll and talked with her companion, the rest is just collateral lucky capture.

Have to admit the guy does have a nice tan and if I had one like that I'd show it off too. Alas though I live in the Pacific Northwest where rust, webbed feet and moss on the back are much more common.
Great pictures!

I agree with Scott best to ere on the side of caution
The image itself sort of reminds me of something you might see in Playboy in the 60's. Nicely done!

The depths some people will sink to for a laugh just astounds me. Usually I just go to the bottom of a barrel but I guess I need to start thinking deeper.

I was on my first real outing with my DSLR just after crossing the street in downtown Aberdeen I heard the drone of a multiengine aircraft which immediately caused the airplane junkie in me to look up. My camera followed a split second later, zoomed in as tight as I could get and fired off 5 shots.

Hi Grayham,
That image is actually one that was more zoomed in on the bird and I did try and correct it so that more of his color was visible. One thing I am kicking myself for is not switching to my Polarizing filter like I thought to do as I approached it and staying with the UV. When I went to change filters it took notice of me and flew off.
Thanks & regards
Below are the originals.

I can not count the number of times I viewed this same spectacle as a kid growing up. Beautiful image and thanks for the memories.
