About the framing, I think it could work even better with more FG for play with the patterns on floor, and just the clouds to frame the mountains and few sky (a generaly down view). About the red hue I think it should be better with a little bit more cold WB. Love the dry grass on the LRC. 6/7. -

Hi Brian, I find a very well balanced composition here. The only thing I miss is more luminosity and vivicity in colors. Every part of the frame has interest for me. I think you made a very good work here. 6/7. -
El lugar debe ser una pasada (aunque ya sé que los hoteles están ahí justo a la espalda). Respecto a la foto y a algo que ya deja intuir un comentario anterior, veo demasiada incongruencia de luminosidad entre el tercio izquierdo y el resto de la foto, cuando además parece que el sol estaba en la parte derecha/trasera derecha. También, aunque no sé si es mi percepción, parece un poco caída a la izquierda. Creo que sería mejor foto incluyendo en el encuadre alguno de los abetos que hay junto a la orilla (aunque me da la impresión que, entonces, la vista no puede ser tan baja ni tan "efecto espejo" como ésta). Pero esa ya es otra foto que seguro tienes y puede que podamos ver. 5/7. -
Hola Félix: Otra fotaza desde Swiftcurrent. Me faltaría un poco más de contraste sobre las montañas laterales del fondo y, según mi monitor, un poco más de luminosidad en todo el 1er. plano. Todo eso por poner alguna pega, porque el lugar y la foto lo valen. 6/7. Te dejo un enlace de Gary Crabbe, , del que espero que pudieses disfrutar del lugar sin la parte tumultuosa de los otros ejemplos. -

Unos minutos antes seguramente la luz sería bastante mejor sobre la montaña (sin decir que ésta es mala) y hubieses tenido "la" foto. El encuadre es justamente el que yo hubiese hecho, ni más ni menos, por ningún lado. Me gusta el enfoque sobre el primer plano, y ese tronco situado justo donde debe estar. Lo dicho, me faltaría una luz más suave. 6/7. -
Hola: Te ha quedado muy guapa. El control de tanto rango dinámico no debe haber sido fácil. Un revelado de dulce. El agua que se pierde y "vuelve a salir" es de lo que más me llama la atención. Muy buena ésta. 6.5/7. -

Hola Félix, Muy guapa ésta, una buena muestra de que no hacen falta luces crespusculares para obtener una muy bonita foto. Como dice el comentario anterior, quizá demasiado viñeteo, aunque a mí no me molesta. Como pegas: el formato que no me acaba de convencer (cosas mías y no por la foto en si), que la foto no es mía; y puede que un poco demasiado ruido en el cielo (al menos en esta miniatura). P.D.: de las que he visto por ahí de este viaje, me gustaron también la otra que te comenté y una con el pico de gran protagonista y tonos rojizos en las cimas, junto con ésta. 6/7. Un saludo. -

Love all on this. Like specially the atmosphere which gives the yellowed water as the timing. About the crop on the bottom, I don't think on this because I love the soft reflection of the waterfall. 7/7. -
I think than mainly the picture needs more window all over there, for the rock on FG to the sky. Maybe for the sky you should be too many overexposed area on the upper right side; but maybe it worth it IMO. I'd try too to up shadows a bit on the mountain. There're my nits over the photo; which resume in "more open window". 5/7. -
Hi Jim, A lovely one from you. I love how the snow work on it. You thought in a good option with the wide-angle when clouds and/or nice light aren't. I considerer the blueish hue a good option mainly with the snow. A nit here is about Rainier which is not completely centered. And about tilted or not, I don't know; but it causes me tension. Maybe a few of contrast in the mountain would work better. Always MHO. It has a pretty cast to film, it is? 5.5/7 -
