<p>I got showered with goose poop at a dawn fly-up at Bosque del Apache when they flew right over us. Tens of thousands of them and the downdraft was amazing. I met George Lepp there that morning. He didn't get showered. I guess that's why he's a pro.</p>

<p>I got the new Tamron 150-600 and brought it up to Sonoma Raceway for a tryout. For fast action, incl BIF's, 600 is harder to use than a 500 (obviously) and the AF at this focal length does have a learning curve. I'm happy with it so far.<br> Both shots are full frame, uncropped.</p><div></div>
