beautiful scenery.... but as a suggestion I would crop the bottom of the photo just below the bushes on the left, and also crop the top, about half way between the tree line (on the left) and top of the image..... to give the photo more of a panoramic feel, and to remove the excess empty spaces. Hope this helps :)

According to your title I'm guessing the scenery while taking this shot was quite dramatic.... I would suggest to maybe convert the image into B&W to emphasize on the drama ;)

    Sudden Fright

Thank you very much for your comment and suggestion..... I personally do somehow feel that there is still something missing to make the image stand out more. I have tried increasing contrast, but it removes a great deal of that soft effect I was aiming for with the dust kicking up. I'll play around a bit to highlight the shadows on the left Zebras' face, maybe that will make the difference the image needs :)

  1. I would suggest cropping almost 2/3rd's of the bottom half of the image, and also cropping on the left, this will make the tree stand out a bit more. Next time concentrate your focus on subject that will stand out from the rest (like the huge lone tree in your image) and add contrast to give definition between subjects.

    Hope this helps :)

    Sudden Fright

I have been rather quiet on PDN, so here is my first post after quite a few

    months again :)

A pair of Zebras that got a fright from an approaching elephant.

    Any Comments/suggestions appreciated

    Thanks
