  1. Thank you for your comment...

I've been trying to get a decent star-trail for a while (usually conditions are horrible i.e. clouds or rising moon etc.), and the amount of noise in the images was unbearable. So practice was hard, but i finally managed to get my method right to reduce noise.

I lit the foreground with a normal LED torch (light painted?), moving it accross the scene "stalling" on the plants.

Hopefully I'll have more starscapes to post quite soon (since i've got my method sorted out now) ;)

    Regards.

  2. The bottom half of the image is very dark...  I personally think it will definitely improve the image if you try and lighten the bottom section - play around with shadows/highlights or brighness/contrast.... but try keep the darkness in the clouds.

    Hope this helps?

Great work!... I really enjoy the "mood" set by the image, it is also somewhat mystical.... the use of B&W really contributes to these effects.

  3. Amazing Capture, and the subjects add to a great atmosphere in combination with the colour tones.

Personal opinion: I think the vignetting gets a bit too dark too quickly towards the top of the image, I prefer the effect given by the bottom right where the dark gradually blends in to the image. But nevertheless - stunning capture with amazing colour!

    Great Capture.....

I personally think the image is cropped a bit tightly (is this the original?), maybe also try and darken or play with the exposure to decrese the over-exposed whites on the lions body and face....

    Hope this helps?
