the antique tone sheds a nice warmth on the wood, Holger... a warm group of 10... ;-} dp
  5. i have a tree in my yard like this one, Alf... it's so endearing like yours the way it reaches for the sunlight with its brave delicate branches :-} dp
  6. your genius for shooting from the hip, Steve... the forefronted woman and the advertised woman at top right give an awesome sort of depth to the scene ;-} dp

    Just Walkin' the Dogs

i keep returning to this picture, Holger... the sunlight is so drenching and fantastic, it keeps drawing me into this quaint little dog walk... ;-} dp
  10. wonderful street shot, Arthur... all alone on that street in her bare feet carrying a big stick or pole and ready to play... it's darling... and your treatment does make it look like a faded photo that could have been taken in the 30's... ;-} dp
  11. i discovered this picture, David, through the comments of my friend Carlos, (and of course Mike was here too )and therefore have discovered your portfolio. it's hard to pick a fave from your dogs folder, but something special resonates with this photo... something like: a man, and his dog, and a whole lot of serenity... ;-} dp

    Boardwalk Study

see the tint of color, Jack, within that realistical captured fog. absolutely perfect fog, Brad, and quite beautiful. the dof is the key to the perfectly distributed fog that makes the photo so realistic,,, ;-} dp

    Coastal evening!

i agree with Jack, Laurent... something engrossing about this one. maybe something to do with the angle you have on the shoreline that is as sweeping as the sky even though its perfectly calm awaiting a storm ;-} dp

    Coupled pair

a document that tells from the items included in it as much as the men themselves; great composition, Konstantin ;-} dp
  21. Oh! I just discovered that I had already discovered you way back with your INDUSTRY series. luv your work... ;-} dp
  22. i luv this whole series, Christopher; but more than the well executed images with ghosts, they are stories; you are a story teller. Which is why I luv your "short stories" series so much too... i discovered you through Ricardo Girao, one of my fave photographers. I hope to see more new work from you... pretty cool camera you have there on your profile page. ;-} dp

    the dance

it is what it is; the perspective has made it what it is... you wanted emphasis on the couple's clutch, and the way you framed the shot expresses the clutch as you felt it perfectly well, Ricardo... ;-} dp
  24. the little dog's paw on the man's foot is precious and intimate, Gianni.... it looks as though the man might be reaching for the paw/foot. luv the image, but wish we were a bit closer to them to appreciate their bond... wonderful picture ;-} dp
